Hi, I am Suzanne Irwin, mother of two, husband to one, nature lover, animal lover, and lifelong learner.  After an 18 year career in finance, I revisited my passions and launched a second career as a high school chemistry teacher.  This blog contains reflections made while exploring varying professional development endeavors.  As a new (third-year) teacher, I am often trying new things to help foster critical thinking in my students.  Not everything works, but everyday I learn ways I can do better.
