When done, write a comment on the video summarizing something you learned, or asking a question. If you are doing this on a phone, click on the post, and at the bottom write your comment where it says “leave a reply”
During this class we will explore percent composition (also called mass percent), as well as substances and mixtures. TO DO BEFORE CLASS
Complete the Student Inventory Worksheet and bring to class.
Watch the three videos below. (The videos are 10 minutes, 3 minutes, and 2 minutes, respectively).
Complete the notes that I handed out in class AS YOU WATCH.
After you finish watching, leave a comment in the block below. You should either write a summary of what you learned, or a question that you still have. OR, you can answer one of your fellow students questions. To do that, you will hit reply to their post, instead of leaving one of your own.
I will have to approve the comments before they show up on the screen. So, you won’t see them show up right away. Each comment/question is worth one point. At the end of the unit, I will add them up and they will count as a quiz grade.
Before class on Aug. 31 or Sept. 1, watch this safety video, and pay attention. After watching, please leave a comment below with 3 things you should do (or not do!) to be safe in the lab. Mrs. Irwin has to approve all comments, so you will not see them show up immediately.
Welcome to AP Chemistry! I am very excited to help you explore Chemistry and Science further. In this post I am embedding our syllabus and class procedures.
